1. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order or entering into a hire agreement with Pullen Power Ltd, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms of Service.

These terms apply to:

  • Equipment hire/rental

  • Delivery and collection

  • Associated temporary power services

  • Early cancellation/contract termination requests


2. Conditions of Hire

Upon hiring equipment from Pullen Power Ltd, you agree that:

  • You are responsible for reasonable care of the equipment during the hire period.

  • The equipment will only be operated as intended and in accordance with safety instructions.

  • No modifications, tampering, or unsafe operation will be carried out.

  • You will notify us immediately if the equipment is damaged, faulty, or unsafe.


3. Prices, Payments & Hire Period

  • Prices listed on our website or quotation include hire rate only, unless otherwise stated.

  • Delivery, collection, transportation, servicing, fuel or additional charges may apply.

  • Full payment must be received before equipment is released unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • The hire period begins from the agreed start date or delivery date (whichever occurs first).


4. Delivery & Collection

  • Delivery and collection times may vary and are dependent on availability and routing.

  • Free delivery may apply to certain towable packages when indicated.

  • Equipment must be accessible for collection at the agreed time.

If access is denied or delayed, additional charges may apply.


5. Title & Ownership

All equipment remains the property of Pullen Power Ltd at all times.
You do not acquire ownership, title, or rights over the equipment beyond the hire term.

Attempted sale, transfer, or pledging of hired goods is prohibited.


6. Damages, Loss & Responsibilities

You accept responsibility for the equipment during the hire period including:

  • Physical damage

  • Loss, theft, or disappearance

  • Improper or unsafe use

  • Failure to return all supplied accessories (cables, fuel tanks, distribution, etc.)

Charges for damage or replacement may apply and will be transparently itemised.


7. Faults & Equipment Failure

In the event of an operating issue or equipment malfunction:

  • You must stop operation immediately and notify us at hello@pullenpower.co.uk

  • We will repair or replace equipment as reasonably practicable.

  • We do not accept liability for consequential loss, business interruption, or indirect damages.

Equipment hired must be “fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality” per the Consumer Rights Act 2015.


8. Health & Safety

You agree to comply with:

  • All relevant safety instructions

  • Laws and regulations concerning power/electrical equipment

  • Safe operational procedures and testing where appropriate

Improper use may void your hire agreement and incur charges.


9. Cancellation, Contract Termination & Early Cessation

Before Delivery / Hire Start

If you cancel before the hire begins:

  • Cancellation may incur administrative charges depending on timing and preparation.

After Delivery / Hire Start

If you wish to terminate early:

  • You must notify us at hello@pullenpower.co.uk

  • Equipment must be made accessible for collection

  • Inspection and final settlement may apply

We may deduct charges relating to:

  • Hire period already elapsed

  • Transport/delivery/collection

  • Inspection, servicing, wear or cleaning

  • Consumables (e.g., fuel)

Charges are always transparent and itemised.

Cooling-off regulations may not apply to active hire contracts once equipment has been arranged, prepared, or delivered (under Consumer Contract Regulations exemptions).


10. Refunds & Final Settlement

Where a refund is due (e.g., after early termination):

  • It will be processed to the original payment method.

  • Most refunds take up to 10 business days to appear.

  • If 15 business days pass with no refund, contact hello@pullenpower.co.uk.


11. Non-Eligible Services

We cannot cancel or refund:

  • Completed hire periods

  • Custom-built power solutions

  • Consumables already used

  • Safety-compromised or tampered equipment


12. Indemnity & Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, you agree to indemnify Pullen Power Ltd against:

  • Damage caused by misuse

  • Loss of equipment

  • Third-party injury arising from unsafe or unauthorised use

Pullen Power Ltd are not liable for:

  • Business interruption

  • Loss of profits

  • Event cancellation costs

  • Indirect or consequential losses


13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to supply caused by events beyond our control, including:

  • Weather

  • Road closures

  • Supplier failures

  • National emergencies

  • Power grid interruptions


14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England.
